Before Fame

He earned a degree in Mathematics from Rice University to pursue a career in Finance before shifting gears, moving to Los Angeles, and changing his career path to comedy.

Trivia

In 2011, he created the weekly puzzle-based webcomic mondaypunday.com. That same year, he began doing stand up in Houston, Texas while working as a financial analyst.

He was born in New Jersey and raised in Atlanta, GA by a Cajun father and Jewish mother.

Chris Flanagan

Chris Flanagan has been entertaining folks around the South and beyond with his high-energy comedy for years. His stories of being raised by a teacher and growing up poor in Mobile, Alabama will leave you in stitches. Chris won the Comedy Central- South Beach Comedy Festival. Recently, he made the Top 6 of the World Series of Comedy (SE Regional, 2017) and the Top 101 W.S.C Comics in the country (Las Vegas, 2017). In addition, he made the Finals of Florida’s Funniest Comedian (Top 6 in state), which has deemed him one of “Florida’s Funniest Next Rising Stars." He was also the "Official Comedian of the Miami Dolphins (NFL)." His clever act earned him the coveted “Gulf Coast Belly Laugh Award," which allowed him to perform at Harrah’s Casino in Las Vegas. Worthy of note, he placed second in the South Florida Comedy Derby, performed at The Brickell Comedy Festival (Miami), featured at the Big Little Comedy Festival (Cleveland), and his act has been seen online for the nationally syndicated The Bob and Tom Show.
